Cooling System

[Home][Product Specs.]

Patented,Three Surface, Forced Convection Cooling System

Thermostat controlled fan moves cool air around the internals of the Amplifier, then forces the air over two layers of the heatsink.

                           Patented, Two Piece Heatsink

Maximum heat dissipation due to the large surface area of the upper and lower heatsink.

                 Adjustable, Chip Programmable Crossover

The Amplifiers are supplied with 88hz low pass and 106 hz high pass chips in the crossover. Mono Blocks are supplied with 88hz low pass chips. These frquencies can be adjusted by changing the chips inside the Amplifier to fit your needs.

Double Sided FR4.062 Epoxy and Fiberglass Circuit Board

The circuit board is very durable and able to tolerate abuse and high temperatures.

                              22 Kohm Input Impedence

Compatible with all head units that have RCA outputs. This impendence is easily driven by head units with low voltage outputs.

                    High Temperature Low Impedence Filters

Primary power supply filtering is accomplished by using  these high quality filters.

                            Proven Through Hole Technology

All holes are plated through which maximizes connections between components and circuit board.

                                 Heavy Duty Output Devices

Output Devices are a common failure in most units. LUNAR uses the heaviest (TO-247) output devices on the market to eleminate this common failure.

                                    Discrete Gain Controls

Each channel has a dedicated gain control to insure proper balance.

                      Low Resistance Active Global Feedback

This eliminates unwanted movement of the speaker cone.              (CONE CONTROL MEANS BETTER SOUND!)

Designed and Manufactured in the U.S.A.

All Amplifiers are designed and manufactured in Opelousas, Louisiana.
